OPEN CALL FOR RESIDENCIES IN RESEARCH, MEDIATION, EXPERIMENTATION AND PRODUCTION

IDENSITAT, together with the Consorci de Museus de la Comunitat Valenciana opens the third edition of the Transversal Aesthetics programme, which, under the title IMMUNITY – COMMUNITY, will promote three projects that combine research and production in the cities of València, Alicante and Castelló, connecting artistic practices to social spaces within specific contexts of each of the three cities, which include two temporary residencies subject to a public open call, and a third by invitation. The programme will take place during 2022 and 2023, and is part of the European project Who Cares?

  • Onsite residency: The call is aimed at artists interested in developing an artistic production - experimentation project on the specific theme proposed. The residency will take place between October and November 2022 at Centro Cultural Las Cigarreras in Alicante.

  • Hybrid residency: Artistic mediation residency, based upon the proposed theme. The projects can take place until March 2023, combining onsite and online phases, and distributing the onsite work according to the needs of the project and its members. The open call demands a project that straddles mediation and research, creating a dialogue between the concepts of "Community – Immunity" from a contemporary point of view, through relational and thought-based methodologies. For the onsite phases, the Centre del Carme Cultura Contemporània in Valencia will provide spaces.

Projects will be selected by a jury comprising José Luis Pérez Pont, managing director of the Consorci de Museus de la Comunitat Valenciana, Nerea de Diego, Co-director of Centro de Arte Contemporáneo Huarte, Carolina Fuertes Mascarell, coordinator of the Centre Cultural Las Cigarreras in Alicante, Clàudia Segura, curator at MACBA, Ramon Parramon and Roser Colomar, members of the Idensitat team.

CONVOCATORIA ABIERTA PARA RESIDENCIAS EN INVESTIGACIÓN, MEDIACIÓN, EXPERIMENTACIÓN Y PRODUCCIÓN

IDENSITAT, junto con el Consorci de Museus de la Comunitat Valenciana abre la tercera edición del programa Estéticas Transversales que, bajo el título INMUNIDAD – COMUNIDAD, impulsará tres proyectos que aúnan investigación y producción en las ciudades de València, Alicante y Castelló, conectando prácticas artísticas a espacios sociales dentro de contextos específicos de cada una de las tres ciudades, incluyendo dos residencias temporales sujetas a convocatoria pública y una tercera por invitación. El programa tendrá lugar durante 2022 y 2023, y forma parte del proyecto europeo Who Cares?

  • Residencia presencial: La convocatoria está dirigida a artistas interesados ​​en desarrollar una producción artística - proyecto de experimentación sobre la temática específica propuesta. La residencia tendrá lugar entre octubre y noviembre de 2022 en el Centro Cultural Las Cigarreras de Alicante.

  • Residencia híbrida: Residencia de mediación artística, basada en la temática propuesta. Los proyectos podrán desarrollarse hasta marzo de 2023, combinando las fases presencial y online, y distribuyendo el trabajo presencial según las necesidades del proyecto y sus integrantes. La convocatoria se abre a proyectos que abarquen la mediación y la investigación, creando un diálogo entre los conceptos de "Comunidad - Inmunidad" desde un punto de vista contemporáneo, a través de metodologías relacionales y basadas en el pensamiento. Para las fases presenciales, el Centre del Carme Cultura Contemporània de Valencia cederá los espacios.

Los proyectos serán seleccionados por un jurado compuesto por José Luis Pérez Pont, director gerente del Consorci de Museus de la Comunitat Valenciana, Nerea de Diego, codirectora del Centro de Arte Contemporáneo Huarte, Carolina Fuertes Mascarell, coordinadora del Centre Cultural Las Cigarreras en Alicante, Clàudia Segura, comisaria del MACBA, Ramon Parramon y Roser Colomar, miembros del equipo de Idensitat.
