A hybrid research and artistic production residency
A meeting at the Arga river to tune in, open up our senses, and approach our surroundings, paying closer attention to the strangeness of the commonplace. This meeting starts with a short walk, and afterwards, food that has been picked or grown in the vicinity of the Arga River will be shared.

Fuegos de alto grado (High Temperature Fires) is a ceremony centred around caring for the Other that begins with a speculative poetic journey in the area surrounding the Arga River. The ceremony ends by sharing food which has been fermented, dehydrated, and impregnated with fungi and plants foraged from around the river. This project represents an experiment in hospitality and cooperation, reframing the relationships between human and non-human beings and the land we inhabit.
