The first episode of Out of SPACE’s Care podcast series focuses on ‘art and caring’, that is, how to combine them and the impact that one has upon the other.
A carer is defined as a ‘family member or paid helper who regularly looks after a child or a sick, elderly, or disabled person.’ We are going to focus on caring for children and in particular how having and caring for children shapes art making and the development of an art career. To discuss this we have two guests who are both artist-parents: Katherine Tulloh and Emily Speed.
